Before your Alton greenhouse can be installed it is important that the site is correctly prepared. We recommend you prepare a full concrete base or a perimeter footing of concrete or paving slabs for your greenhouse to stand on. It is essential that any base is firm and level as even though an Alton greenhouse has concrete base kerbs, a stable, level base for your greenhouse helps prevent the wood from coming into contact with damp soil and helps overcome any problems opening and closing the door.
