The Cedar construction produces stronger and more thermally efficient building than most aluminium alternatives. Alton Greenhouses are factory treated by total immersion in a preservative treatment prior to delivery.
The Alton 6 x 6 Octagonal greenhouse, as all other octagonal greenhouses in the alton range, is glazed as standard with 4mm toughened glass, which is approximately five times as strong as ordinary glass.
