HOPE’s mission is to provide advice, assistance, guidance and access to education, health care, emergency accommodation and move on opportunities, and any other service deemed necessary to combat homelessness and promote social inclusion.
They are using the greenhouse to promote an active life style and healthy eating through growing fresh produce and supplying the 15 bed Emergency Accommodation and Day Service with fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs.
it will also be used as a training and educational project around food growing, cooking healthy meals, sustainability, environment and wildlife through partnership working with local community groups and volunteers from the community.
The group’s purpose is to promote access to organic, locally grown produce; to encourage healthy eating and provide a beautiful outdoor space where a sense of community prevails.
